For all you crafting/scrap-booking friends who may be getting crafting withdrawal symptoms over the Christmas/New Year period with spare time on your hands or who fancy a challenge......here we go!
Create a 12 x 12" scrapbook page on one the following Well known Children's Books.
Pages must be 12 x 12" and contain the title and author of the book somewhere on the page. It can be designed as a cover or contain parts of the story, using any techniques you like....altered art, stamping, die-cuts, etc. it's up to you and your imagination.
Please leave at Scrapbook Sisters for me to pick up....hopefully I can make an album of the pages.

Dad's birthday
It was my dad's birthday yesterday, so I needed to make a card for him. This has given me a chance to make a card for the Scrapbook Sisters challenge and use my new Cuddle Upz CD.
The giraffe images were printed on photo paper then cut out and mounted on beige A4 card folded into a gate-fold card. Dark brown pearl card was used inside and then message and sentiment added on top of this.

Long time
Well it's been rather too long since I've posted anything on here. Main reason is.....no internet connection on downstairs pc....still waiting for eldest son to fix it....( won't be happening in the foreseeable future then!!!)
Was busy making Halloween costumes for shop crop, which included not only my spider outfit, but also Karen's pumpkin one too.......still had some laughs doing so and also at crop itself........well worth the lack of sleep!!
Have finished some of my 'in miniature projects' from Karen's classes which I only recently started and have finished several scrapbook pages from various classes, so my ufo's aren't as numerous as they could be.
Also attended Julie's altered art class which has again made me realise I miss painting and need to do more of it.
Will add photos hopefully later today of finished items.....

Scrapbook Sisters card challenge
I've managed to do it. Create a card for the pink and black card challenge, within the deadline too!!
I coloured the background card with a Twilight-Brilliance ink pad. I stamped on it with the stamps from my Stamping Extravagance class, with black memento and StazOn ink pads. Mounted on black card and finished with a black organza ribbon bow.

At Last
After being nagged by Karen on Wednesday night I have now sat and taken the time to set up a blog. How often I manage to post anything will remain to be seen. Between work, classes at Scrapbook Sisters and the boring tasks of housework there aren't many hours left in the week, unless of course I decide to completely forego sleep.
